Welcome to Active Dog Behaviour
Founded by Katie, who holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Animal Science, Behaviour and Welfare and is an IMDT-qualified dog trainer, Active Dog Behaviour provides professional dog training in Guernsey using science-based, force-free methods, supported by a strong background in canine rehabilitation and hydrotherapy.
We offer science-based, force-free dog training for puppies and adult dogs, alongside behaviour modification consultations, all tailored to real life with busy families.
Katie specialises in puppy training and development, helping owners understand how their puppy learns and experiences the world. By building strong foundations early on, we help create confident, well-adjusted dogs and prevent behaviour challenges later in life.
Our services include one-to-one training, outdoor puppy adventure classes, outdoor adolescent classes, and pet gundog training. Training in real-life environments allows dogs to learn around everyday distractions, building reliable skills that last beyond the classroom.
With a strong focus on dog welfare and ethical, science-based, force-free training, our aim is simple: to help dogs feel understood, fulfilled, and supported, and to help owners feel confident and capable.
